I have been involved in showing my dogs for 15 years and came (like many other dog people) from many years of exhibiting horses.  I quickly found that I was addicted to the competitive side of showing - but more than anything else - I enjoy spending time with my dogs & all my fantastic friends.  We have a terrific time travelling around Tassie and the Mainland - cheering on each other, helping to handle each others dogs, sharing a glass of bubbly...and commiserating when the judge was quite obviously blind that day!

We are very fortunate to live only 15 minutes out of Hobart  & only 3 minutes from the beautiful Seven Mile Beach on 3 acres. I began dog showing with my first Golden Retriever, "Lucy". I have been very lucky to have owned some fabulous Goldies over the years.  Please take the time to check out Murphy & Matilda's pages - they are two very special dogs, recognised at both Specialty Breed & All Breeds level as well as great examples of their breed.  I have also exhibited an Australian Terrier & Nellie our Mini Wire Dachshund.  After many years admiring the Lhasa Apso - and being thoroughly terrified of the coats,  I decided to take the plunge and am now thoroughly entranced by the breed and have enjoyed many successes with Lewis the Lhasa! This wonderful dog has given me so much joy and success I am forever indebted to him (and his breeders Michael and Jenny - Amesen Kennels). Over the past few years he has given me many Best in Groups, my first All Breeds Best In Show, my first Grand Champion and my first Australian Champion with MY prefix (His son Archie)!

My infatuation with these beautiful dogs is continuing with Bubble joining us from Lyngala Kennels (Bubble is the mother of Archie - our first homebred Lhasa Champion), Alice - Nahemja Twilight from the famous Nahemja Kennels and most recently we took the huge step of importing our very first dog! My very precious Gracie - Siimline Glamorous Parti - joined us from Kersti Paju in the UK. Gracie is a mix of some of the best bloodlines in the world and both her parents were bred by Juha Kares of the world famous Chic Choix Kennels in Finland.
